Your hours, your rules

We set your working hours during onboarding. Outside them, the receptionist knows you're closed and tells callers what will happen next using the wording you've agreed, for example that someone will call back first thing.

  • Routine enquiries are waiting for you as texts in the morning.
  • Urgent calls under your own definition can be texted straight away or put through.
  • If you don't offer an emergency service, callers are told so honestly.

Emergencies without the false alarms

A dripping tap isn't an emergency. Water coming through a ceiling might be. You set what counts, and you can say some things only count as urgent out of hours. That keeps your evenings quiet unless something genuinely needs you.

Safety calls handled with fixed wording

If a caller mentions a gas smell or carbon monoxide, the receptionist doesn't try to diagnose anything. It gives approved wording that directs them to the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999, or 999 where life is at risk, and then lets you know they called.

Questions

Can I get only urgent calls out of hours?
Yes. You can have routine enquiries held as texts and only be contacted for jobs that match your urgent rules.
What about bank holidays?
Tell us your plans and we'll set the receptionist to treat them as closed days.
